Hi I’m Leeanne, owner of Party Plaits. I’m a mum who loves to braid, create and have fun with hair.

Coming from a family of hairdressers, I learnt to braid in my early teens. I have developed my skills practicing on my sisters, nieces and friends over the years, and more recently on my own girls and their friends. My love of colour and sparkle exploded when I became a mum.

Braiding and playing with my children’s hair, adding pops of colour and accessories, and seeing their joy as we created new styles together was incredibly inspiring. I realised how much fun and happiness my creativity could bring, and Party Plaits was born.

I started with festival braiding from my home, and quickly expanded into developing various quick install party styles. I took Party Plaits to children’s parties, events, weddings, fun days and schools, adding glitter, gem designs and accessories as I went along. My goal? To bring fun, colour, creativity and sparkle to every occasion.
